A record-breaking year for the women’s World Cup of Tennis

 

The 2023 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge season came to an end in November, with Canada claiming victory at the Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Finals in Seville.

 

It has been another historic year for the women’s World Cup of Tennis, with a record 135 nations and 651 players competing in Billie Jean King Cup in 2023. The Canadian team earned a record $2.4 million (USD) in player prize money as a result of their triumph in Andalucia, with the team presented with their cheque on court by Dan Towriss, CEO of title partner Gainbridge.

 

The 2024 season, which begins with the Qualifiers on 12-13 April, promises further growth.
